Job Description
Description The Scientist will support the Reference Standards Laboratory by performing NMR-based analytical testing and data interpretation to advance multiple ongoing projects. Responsibilities include sample preparation, NMR data acquisition and analysis, documentation of experimental activities and reporting results, and collaboration with other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Summary of Duties:
- Perform NMR-based analytical testing and data interpretation to support ongoing laboratory projects; prepare and analyze samples, operate NMR instrumentation, document and review results, maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Chemistry Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
- The position requires hands-on NMR experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
B.A./B.S.
in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant laboratory experience; or- M.S. degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Prior hands-on experience with NMR instrumentation, data acquisition, and spectral interpretation is highly desirable to enable immediate contribution to ongoing laboratory projects.
