Job Summary Professional Search Group OC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Compounder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and processing chemical compounds in accordance with strict pharmaceutical manufacturing standards. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality chemical products while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards. Responsibilities Accurately measure, mix, and compound industrial chemicals following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and material carts safely to transport raw materials and finished products within the facility Handle various chemical agents with precision, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal in compliance with environmental and safety regulations Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and gloves, to prevent exposure during chemical handling Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, batch records, and quality control checks to ensure regulatory/legal compliance standards are met Assist in equipment setup, machining, and calibration for manufacturing processes involving chemical compounds Support packaging operations by preparing finished products for shipment while adhering to GMP standards and packaging protocols Skills Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize process efficiency and reduce waste Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and laboratory safety procedures Mechanical aptitude with experience operating material handling equipment like forklifts and other industrial machinery Familiarity with industrial chemical handling, storage, and safety procedures including PPE usage and respiratory protection measures Basic math skills for precise measurement, formulation calculations, and quality assessments Experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or industrial chemical production environment Ability to follow detailed manufacturing SOPs and safety protocols diligently while maintaining high attention to detail Hands-on laboratory experience or machining skills beneficial for process adjustments or equipment maintenance Join our team to play a vital role in producing safe, effective pharmaceutical products!
