The successful candidate is expected to have recently obtained PhD degree and a track record of publications in the field. The main job duty is to design and synthesize compounds targeting biologically/pharmaceutically important proteins for the treatment of cancer, stroke and other diseases. In addition, he/she will receive training in computational drug design, biochemistry and cell biology techniques for testing compound activities. Job Duties Designs and synthesizes compounds that are potential inhibitors of chemical probes of proteins implicated in cancer or other diseases. Analyzes experimental data and report results. Writes technical reports and manuscripts. Minimum Qualifications MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. No experience required.
