Job Description

Chemist Piney Technical Services The Analytical Chemist conducts chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods and bulk samples. This is an immediate opening on 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) and on 3rd shift 11pm - 7am) Sign on Bonus Paid. Essential Functions of the Analytical Chemist Routine analytical chemical testing on products submitted to the labSpecialized analytical testing in support of development projects, new products, method troubleshooting or as part of investigations. Operation of laboratory instrumentation, gas chromatography (GC), High Pressure LiquidTroubleshoot laboratory instruments and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment including Chromatography (HPLC), UV/Visible Spectrophotometry and FTIRConducts analytical work in support of cleaning validations and engineering trials.
