Working Title Temporary Clinical Trial Research Assistant

Details The UI Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is seeking a self-motivated temporary Clinical Trials Research Assistant to support our research efforts in the division of Pulmonology. This role will aid in the conduct of off-site study visits. Supervise sections of the required "24/7 observation periods for a Pancreatic Enzyme research study. Stay in hotel room adjacent to the study participant to: Document study medication intake

Provide the pre-prepared study meals and snacks

Record intake of study meals and snacks.

Instruct participant on stool collection process.

Identify any changes in health during this time period. Stool collection Collect all stool between administration of the first blue dye marker through the appearance of the second blue dye marker in the stool

Assess the stool for presence of blue dye parker.

Track the date/time and consistency of stool.

Store the stool in the freezer

Transport the stool to the Clinical Research Unit at Iowa Healthcare main campus. Enter subject information into the study database

Complete training required by Sponsor for conduct of this study.

Communicate with coordinators: Any documentation issues

Any change in health issues

Any dosing or meal intake issues Education Requirements
