They play a crucial role in assessing the current functioning and mood of study subjects throughout the study duration. Reporting to the Site, the Clinical Research Rater maintains professional interactions with sponsors, study personnel, subjects, and families, while actively participating in ongoing knowledge acquisition and contributing to the growth of the corporation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct interviews/ratings with study subjects to assess current levels of functioning and mood, adhering to study protocol guidelines. Complete organizational queries related to neuro-psych testing accurately and promptly. Maintain professional and respectful interactions with sponsors, study personnel, subjects, families, and clinical staff members. Utilize interpersonal and clinical skills to manage study subjects effectively. Actively engage in continuous learning and skill development to enhance performance. Offer proactive alternative solutions to support the growth and success of the corporation. Anticipate and address challenges before they arise, contributing to a positive work environment. Uphold professional conduct, including appropriate dress and interpersonal skills. Manage communication channels effectively, including voicemail, email, and telephone, with proper etiquette. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Master's degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Neuroscience, or related discipline), required
Experience:
2-3 years of experience as a rater, with proficiency in the following scales: BABS, BPD-MODULE, BPRS, C-SSRS, CAINS, CGI, CSFQ, CSSRS, DAS, GAD-7, HAM-A, HAMD-17, MADRS, MCCB, MINI, PANSS, PCL, PSP, SCID, SCoRS, YBOCS. Have 3 or more years of clinical experience with adult psychiatric patients
Credentials:
Any relevant certifications in clinical research or psychological assessments are highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth understanding of neurocognitive testing protocols and procedures. Familiarity with the mentioned rating scales and their application in clinical research. Strong interpersonal skills Effective written and verbal communication
