A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our clinical faculty Hematology Oncologist, you will play in intregal part in the expansion of our clinical, research, and educational activities within our Department of Medicine in partnership with The Henry Lynch Cancer Center at Creighton University Medical Center. Every day, you will provide compassionate and expert care in a high volume system with broad referral networks in partnership with Radiation Oncology, Pulmonary Medicine, our Breast Center of Excellence, Surgical Oncology and Orthopaedic Sarcoma programs. This unique opportunity is positioned participate in clinical research trials within the school of medicine, and to assist in cancer center leadership. To be successful in this role, you will be board certified in Hematology/Oncology, provide compassionate and expert care in collaboration with our integrated, multispecialty system, working with every member in subspecialty surgery, committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. In addition, our program is further augmented by our many other resources associated with our academic institution, including our institute of population health, biomedical and cancer research. Working in an academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University's residents and medical students and conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.
