A Clinical Investigator works on a clinical trial, and is responsible for ensuring that an investigation is conducted according to the signed investigator statement, the investigational plan, and applicable regulations; for protecting the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects under the investigator's care; and for the control of drugs under investigation. The Clinical Investigator must also meet requirements set forth by the FDA, EMA or other regulatory body. The qualifications must be outlined in a current resume and readily available for auditors.

Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Oncology Physician for a full-time locum opportunity in New York. This is an outpatient-only position with no call responsibilities, a manageable patient volume, and strong clinical support. Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing assignment Full-time locum tenens opportunity Option for rotating coverage blocks (2 3 weeks at a time) Schedule Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM No call No overtime Practice Setting Outpatient Medical Oncology Hospital-affiliated cancer program Epic EMR Clinical Responsibilities Medical Oncology consultations Follow-up visits Treatment planning and management Outpatient cancer care Collaborative care with oncology team Patient Volume Approximately patients per day Team Structure Working alongside another locum oncologist Dedicated nursing support Clinical assistants available Requirements MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible Active New York license preferred New York license pending candidates accepted (must obtain before start) Credentialing Full privileges available Ideal Candidate Medical Oncologists seeking a predictable weekday schedule, outpatient-focused practice, no call responsibilities, and a supportive oncology team.
