Friday Pay:

Starting at $35,500

We are currently seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (Assistant CRC) to help support our esteemed clinical research site. About Us Oregon Dermatology and Research Center (ODRC), founded by Dr. Phoebe Rich in 1984, is an independent clinical dermatology research site located in Northwest Portland, Oregon. Over the past four decades, we have conducted more than 400 clinical trials, earning a strong reputation for excellence in dermatology research and patient care. Our team is made up of experienced and passionate board‑certified dermatologists, clinical providers, and research professionals who are dedicated to compassionate care and advancing dermatologic medicine. Through our clinical trials, we are proud to offer participants access to cutting‑edge dermatologic treatments at no cost, while delivering personalized, high‑quality care. What Is Dermatology Clinical Research? Dermatology clinical research focuses on studying new or existing treatments for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, alopecia, hidradenitis suppurativa, and many other dermatologic conditions. Clinical studies help evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medications and therapies before they become widely available to patients. At Oregon Dermatology and Research Center, our research site offers cost-free clinical care to our community. Patients who participate in our research studies volunteer their time to help advance dermatologic medicine, and our research team supports them throughout the process. We provide free study-related care while following carefully designed study protocols, collecting accurate data, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive experience. What This Role Looks Like The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator role is an administrative and clinical, detail‑oriented position that supports the day‑to‑day operations of our dermatology clinical research site. Approximately 70% of this role involves independent and administrative work , while the remaining 30% of the role involves hands‑on clinical and patient support . While many responsibilities require focused, independent work, this role is also highly team‑based . Assistant CRCs work closely with our investigators and fellow research coordinators, collaborating daily to ensure studies run smoothly and patients are well supported. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of independent work, meaningful patient interaction, and being part of a collaborative, supportive research team .

Key Responsibilities Administrative Support:

Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for clinical research studies, including managing paper and electronic study files, assisting with scheduling, and maintaining accurate, well‑organized records.

Protocol Support:

Assist research coordinators and investigators with the implementation and monitoring of study protocols to ensure studies are conducted in accordance with guidelines and site procedures.

Clinical & Patient Support:

Support patient study visits by assisting with visit flow, collecting samples as directed, and helping ensure participant comfort and protocol compliance.

Laboratory Processing & Shipping:

Assist with processing, handling, and preparing laboratory samples for shipment in accordance with study and laboratory requirements.

Participant Recruitment & Retention:

Support participant recruitment efforts and maintain ongoing communication with enrolled participants to promote safety, understanding, and continued engagement.

Data Collection & Entry:

Collect, organize, and enter study data accurately into research databases and source documents. Medical terminology:

Familiarity with medical terminology

Dermatology or research experience:

Prior experience in dermatology or clinical research is a plus, but not required. Prior clinical research and/or patient‑facing experience is not required
