Job Title:
Hybrid Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description This Clinical Research Coordinator role supports a clinical trial at a research site in the Chattanooga, TN area. You will identify and recruit eligible participants, educate them about the study, and help ensure they remain engaged and compliant throughout the trial. The position requires strong clinical research experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with both participants and research staff. This is a 24-hour-per-week role. It is a flexible position with a majority of the hours remote or hybrid. Responsibilities + Identify, pre-screen, and recruit eligible participants for the clinical trial through community outreach and other recruitment strategies. + Perform patient recruitment activities, including phone screening, in-person discussions, and follow-up communication to support enrollment goals. + Conduct community outreach efforts to spread awareness of the study, including visiting local community locations and attending community events. + Partner with local clinics, medical practices, and medical professionals to generate patient referrals for the clinical trial. + Educate healthcare providers about the clinical trial, including study objectives, eligibility criteria, and participant qualifications. + Explain study procedures, expectations, and requirements to potential participants in a clear and empathetic manner. + Support participants throughout the trial to promote engagement, adherence, and protocol compliance. + Collaborate closely with research staff and investigators to ensure accurate and timely execution of study-related activities. + Use electronic medical records (EMR) systems to review patient information, support pre-screening, and document recruitment activities. + Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and privacy regulations to protect participant safety and confidentiality. + Maintain organized documentation of recruitment efforts, participant interactions, and study-related records. + Contribute to a fast-paced research environment by managing multiple tasks and priorities with strong attention to detail. Essential Skills + Proven experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or Clinical Research Experience. + At least 1+ year of experience in patient recruitment for clinical research or clinical trials. + Clinical research experience, including familiarity with clinical trial processes and protocols. + Training in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements. + Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP). + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. + Confident verbal and written communication skills for interacting with participants, providers, and research staff. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
