Dallas, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $52,000 - 58,000 per year work hours: 9 to 5 education: High School responsibilities: Manage clinical trial data collection, process queries, and ensure timely protocol resolution. Identify and report adverse events while maintaining compliance with FDA and GCP guidelines. Conduct pre-study, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits with sponsor representatives. Perform patient intake, administer topical/oral ophthalmic medications, and counsel patients on physician orders. Maintain regulatory documentation including IRB approvals, protocol amendments, and safety reports.
qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Research Assistant or Coordinator experience in an Ophthalmic practice. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven training in medical terminology and strong knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and GCP standards. Demonstrated ability to perform patient triage and respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations.
Preferred:
Specific experience in a Retinal practice. Hands-on proficiency with NextGen and Patient Management software.
