The Manager Clinical Research Programs is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of a functional team accountable for supporting clinical research programs and/or studies conducted by Principal Investigators (PIs) at Arkansas Children's Research Institute. Achieves functional objectives while developing individuals and teams and ensuring team effectiveness, including but not limited to, with process maintenance and definition of team norms.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Develops annual work plans used to achieve goals and performance metrics. Evaluates team performance and defines and maintains internal processes. Evaluates performance of team members, providing continuous feedback. Accountable for managing entire employee lifecycle of team, including hiring, development, performance management, discipline and termination. Is a role model and champion for the research mission of the institute. Seeks new challenges and is self-directed in identifying resources/learning activities to enhance competence. Participates in leadership activities for the institution. Completes appropriate continuing education related to role responsibilities. 5. Consistently demonstrates that new knowledge and skills gained from education are incorporated into actual practice.
