at State of Delaware in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description This position will perform and manage Historic Architecture surveys within areas affected by DelDOT projects, coordinating with environmental and engineering design staff.

Primary tasks include:

research, fieldwork, analysis and evaluation, and technical report writing and reviewing. Duties also include public outreach and consultation efforts and documentation associated with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and Section 4(f) of the US DOT Act. Master's Degree or higher in architectural history, art history, historic preservation or closely related field, or a bachelor's degree architectural history, art history, historic preservation, or closely related field AND two years of experience in architectural history or restoration architecture or recognized as a contributor to the field of American architectural history.
