Job Description
What You'll Do:
Assist with fieldwork such as sampling various media, conducting site inspections, and supporting field engineers, geologists, and scientists. Research, collect, and enter data; apply technical principles to help interpret and analyze environmental data sets. Assist in preparing environmental investigation designs, work plans, and conceptual site models. Perform preliminary human health and ecological risk calculations and modeling to support project evaluations. Assist with environmental assessments to identify site conditions, potential impacts, and compliance needs. Prepare technical reports that summarize methods, findings, and recommendations. Travel as required to support field activities and project needs.What You'll Bring:
A t least 2 years towards degree in environmental science, engineering, geology or equivalent study Relevant courses related to principles of environmental science, geology, or similar Proficient in MS Office products Ability to work independently and in a team environment Able to conduct some fieldwork with occasional heavy lifting Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members Must have a valid driver's license Internship or coop experience Experience in ArcGIS and AutoCAD preferred 40-hourHAZWOPER
