$68,000 - $76,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Executive Director of the Office of Environmental Professional Programs (OEPP), the Coordinator administers and coordinates day-to-day operations across the office's full program portfolio and provides operational and administrative support to OEPP's Executive Director and Program Directors. The Coordinator independently identifies and resolves routine and non-routine operational issues within established authority and escalates matters requiring academic or policy determinations. The role touches a broad range of operational areas, including program administration, marketing and communications, event logistics, budget processing, and cross-unit coordination with Academic Affairs, Advising, Admissions, the Registrar, Student Financial Services, Analytics, Faculty Affairs, Finance, and HR. Responsibilities Program Administration & Operations Maintain the office's operational calendar and key program milestones. Manage the preparation and submission of Course Planning Statements (CPS) across assigned programs, evaluating scheduling and program requirements; identify conflicts and recommend or implement appropriate operational resolutions within established parameters. Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing operational needs, resolving cross-functional issues, allocating available administrative resources, evaluating competing program needs, and determining appropriate courses of action on matters affecting program operations, course delivery, student support, and office resources within established policies and authority. Partner with Faculty Affairs to support faculty onboarding and hiring; assist with tracking adjunct and full-time faculty administrative processes across the assigned program(s). Administer program operations relating to curriculum plans, registration, waitlists, and online course delivery. Analyze operational risks, recurring problems, resource constraints, and cross-program needs; evaluate potential courses of action and advise the Executive Director and Program Directors regarding recommended solutions. Disseminate program-specific information to students across assigned programs regarding registration, workshops, job listings, events, and student and alumni networking opportunities. Assist with the coordination of capstone or practicum-style courses where applicable, including soliciting project proposals from external clients and organizing public presentation events each semester. Support the administration of Program Curriculum Committees and Committee on Instruction review processes; help maintain and update student-facing program materials. Procure and manage program supplies and branded inventory for recruitment, student engagement, and events; assist at school-wide events including orientation and graduation. Support faculty and OEPP staff to coordinate logistics and purchasing related to courses abroad. Cross-Unit & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as a liaison between the assigned program office and internal university offices including Academic Affairs, Advising, Admissions, the Registrar, Student Financial Services, Analytics, Faculty Affairs, Finance, HR, and External Affairs to ensure sufficient resource allocation and operational alignment. Coordinate administrative support activities on behalf of the Executive Director and Program Directors to ensure consistent, timely communication and workflow across the office. Support co-curricular programming, professional development events, and networking activities for students and alumni, supplementing Career Services. Create and publish content to expand the reach of OEPP's messaging across three degree programs via newsletters, social media, and the university's website. Obtain content from Program Directors, OEPP leadership, alumni, faculty, and students to be approved by the Executive Director. Cross-Program Flexibility Support multiple programs concurrently or on a rotating basis, as assigned by OEPP leadership. Quickly learn the operational, curricular, and stakeholder landscape of a new program area with minimal ramp-up time. Implement consistent operational standards and best practices across programs; identify opportunities to standardize processes and exercise defined authority to address exceptions without obtaining prior approval in every instance. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned/required.
