Holders of the Environmental Scientist Advisor position will complete tasks such as: Serve as a technical advisor responsible for implementing scientific programs and studies related to the Federal Air Emissions Reporting Rule on a statewide basis. Provide expertise in the development of guidelines and procedures relating to air quality emissions inventory Evaluate permits, projects, authorizations, and certification applications to determine compliance with existing regulations. Oversee and implement the creation, maintenance, and closure of regulated facilities in the Kentucky Emissions Inventory System based on approved permitting actions under Title V and minor source programs. Complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) of required permitting emissions inventory information for sources.
