What You'll Be Doing Perform soil boring logging and collect soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples Provide field oversight of drilling crews and contractors, including air monitoring Prepare daily field reports, manifests, and site documentation Analyze environmental data and contribute to site investigation and remediation reports Conduct environmental investigations at Brownfield sites, parks, and former industrial properties Oversee material handling and stockpile management, including import/export tracking What You'll Gain Exposure to complex urban remediation projects in NYC Hands‑on experience across investigation, monitoring, and remedial implementation Opportunity to contribute to long‑term, high‑visibility projects Mentorship from experienced environmental professionals A role that blends field leadership with technical growth What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, site assessment, or remediation Field experience with sampling, drilling oversight, or environmental monitoring Strong technical writing and communication skills Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively with a project team Flexible schedule and ability to travel throughout the five boroughs of NYC Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
