On-Call Environmental Science Intern - Summer 2026

Your Opportunity Stantec, is actively seeking on-call Environmental Science internship support for our Environmental Services team of scientists, engineers, planners and other environmental professionals in our Northern California business unit, in the Walnut Creek, CA office. As an on-call intern, you will be part of a team supporting various environmental compliance related work including stormwater, hazardous materials and waste, biological resources, and cultural resources. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-discipline environment and contribute to meaningful restoration, monitoring, and pre-construction projects in the water and energy industry. Your Responsibilities Support data collection efforts for various environmental-related projects Data entry and some report preparation Manage technical data and prepare tables and figures Maintain field gear Your Capabilities and Credentials Strong ethic and ability to work unsupervised Willingness to learn and follow directions Ability to work well independently and with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Self-motivated with strong initiative Creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Positive and energetic attitude Your Education and Experience High School diploma. Some college experience preferred. Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Pay Range:

• $16.43 - $21.09

Hourly Pay Transparency:

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary:
