Environmental Field Technician Connecticut (USA) Thunderbird Environmental is seeking a reliable Part-Time Environmental Field Technician based in Clinton, CT. This role involves hands-on environmental sampling and field documentation across New York and New England. Ideal for candidates who enjoy fieldwork, travel, and contributing to environmental projects. Key Responsibilities Travel to various job sites throughout New York and New England in a company-owned vehicle. Collect environmental media samples and submit them to analytical laboratories. Document all field work accurately in a field notebook. Provide project managers with daily email updates while on the road. Travel & Schedule This position requires significant out-of-state overnight travel for up to one week at a time, approximately every three weeks. Lodging, meals, and all travel expenses are fully paid by Thunderbird Environmental. Compensation & Hours Pay rate: $30 per hour. Minimum of 50 hours of work per month. Weekend and holiday pay rates available. All lodging, meals, and travel expenses covered by the company.
