Lockport, LA Position Overview:

The Entry Level Environmental Representatives responsibilities will include inspecting and maintaining the facility's handling, storage, and disposal of waste; including managing the air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Waste collection, storage, and transport (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, industrial solid, special waste, tires, sewage/biosolids). Blasting and Painting Engineering Controls. VOC and Fugitive Housekeeping Plan.

SPC/SPCC

Plan.

SPC/SPCC

inspections. Air opacity checks and log completion. Hazardous Waste inspections. Secondary containment drainage logs. Rain Gauge Report/Rainfall logs. SWPPP inspections. Performs sanitary unit maintenance, as applicable. Assists facility and corporate HSE personnel in carrying out various environmental duties. Ability to collect required water samples.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one (1) year working experience in Environmental compliance. EMT, First Responder and First Aid Training is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

General knowledge of environmental practices and procedures. Capable of monitoring/controlling those procedures on-site. Highly motivated, proficient in using MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.), Oracle experience a plus.
