Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Technician located in Odessa, Texas. Responsibilities include conducting environmental assessments and remediation activities, collecting soil samples, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Environmental Technician will also collaborate with team members and clients to communicate findings, provide recommendations, and support environmental projects. He/she shall have a working knowledge of the basic principles and techniques of NORM operations. Have the ability to read frisk and survey meters and receive oral instructions. Perform equipment and personnel decontamination procedures. Experienced in Confined Space Entry, tank and vessel cleaning and perform fire watch as necessary. Ability to handle tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Preferred Certifications

Safe Land First Aid CPR Confined Space H2S Fit Test NORM Survey /Worker Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Environmental Services and Remediation Skill in collecting soil samples Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients Attention to detail and the ability to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards Ability to work effectively on-site in a hands-on capacity, with a commitment to reliability and productivity Proficiency with relevant tools and techniques used in environmental data collection and management Previous experience or qualification in environmental science, geology, or related fields is an advantage
