What You'll Do As our Infection Preventionist, you'll lead and support infection prevention efforts throughout the facility while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, reporting, and trend analysis Educate and support staff on infection prevention practices Monitor infection control practices throughout the facility Support compliance with applicable infection prevention requirements Participate in quality improvement and survey readiness initiatives Collaborate with clinical leadership to promote positive resident outcomes Provide on-call support as assigned What We're Looking For Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required Long-term care experience preferred Infection Prevention experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to educate and support staff Commitment to resident safety and quality care Your Nursing Experience Can Make a Facility-Wide Impact If you're ready to grow beyond traditional bedside nursing and take on a specialized role where prevention, education, and clinical leadership come together , we'd love to meet you.
