1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN Infection Control Preventionist/Employee Health Nurse for a behavioral health facility, requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of experience. Details Behavioral health setting within a 120-bed facility's Nursing Administration department Serves geriatric, adult, child, adolescent, and state-contracted psychiatric patient populations Day shift schedule (7-3 or 8-4) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Uses Cerner EHR Requirements Active RN license (or eligibility) to work in Massachusetts Current BLS certification required Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC) required APIC certification preferred Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience Strong organizational and infection control knowledge required Joint Commission readiness knowledge required DMH standards knowledge preferred Self-directed and professional demeanor required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for infection control practices and employee health nursing duties across the facility Works closely with the Chief Nursing Officer Reports to and supports Joint Commission readiness initiatives Royal blue scrubs required; casual wear and other facility-branded attire not permitted Biweekly orientation held on Tuesdays Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
