Job Description
Infection Control RN Full-Time | $106,000-$110,000 per Year | Benefits Available Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Infection Control / Staff Development Coordinator position. This leadership role oversees infection prevention and control while leading staff education, training, and compliance initiatives throughout our skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities Oversee the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program. Monitor infection trends, maintain required documentation, and prepare reports. Ensure compliance with infection prevention policies, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and coordinate staff orientation, education, and ongoing in-service training. Identify infection control concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions and follow-up. Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing on quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Infection control or infection prevention experience preferred. Staff development, staff education, or nursing education experience preferred. Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
