Duties Assist dentists during various procedures, including chairside support for general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry cases Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection prevention management policies Conduct dental instrument processing, ensuring proper sterilization using dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging, including 3D scans when applicable, adhering to safety standards and radiation protocols Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Measure vital signs and assist with patient management by providing excellent patient care and education throughout their visit Maintain clinical confidentiality policies while handling medical documentation and medical records with integrity and professionalism Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry practices Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment, and oral surgery procedures Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is highly desirable Expertise in infection prevention management, including dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control standards Ability to operate dental X-ray machines safely and accurately; knowledge of medical imaging technology is a plus Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist; capable of managing patient inquiries professionally while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and general dentistry procedures; experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred Join us to be part of a team that values excellence in patient care, clinical safety, and continuous professional growth.
