Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN/LPN for our Infection Prevention Full time position. The Infection Prevention Manager will be responsible for the infection prevention program, dissemination of infection prevention information including surveillance data and policy decisions. They will plan, organize, and direct the implementation of a system wide infection control & prevention program. The primary goal is to successfully identify and prevent or reduce causes and/or sources of infection in compliance with Infection Prevention & Control protocols.
Wage Information:
RN:
$46.20-$49.70/per hour, based on experience.
LPN:
$39.95/hour- $42.70/hour based on experience
INCLUDING
$0.85/hour MI wage pass through until 09.30.26 WHEN
WORKING THE FLOOR MAKE AN ADDITIONAL
$3.40/hour (MI wage pass through)

Infection Prevention duties include: Manage and Maintain our Infection Control Program Assist with the collection, analysis and reporting of infection prevention data. Perform new hire & annual competency testing and evaluations on clinical staff. Maintain education records and ensure compliance with standards. Actively participate in quality assurance meetings Effectively direct, manage, and operationalize the infection prevention program Consult and communicate with county and state health departments as needed Perform Statistical Analysis to contribute to the facility

Qualifications/Requirements:
Current LPN/RN Nurse License in the State of Michigan Have an Infection Prevention Certificate, or willing to obtain one. 3+ Years of experience in a long-term care environment.
