Full Job Description Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking a medical professional to serve as Infection Prevention Specialist at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. This employee works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Occasional weekends on call are required.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or another healthcare-related field.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

IPS:

CIC certification is required within 2 years of hire.

IPS-II:

current CIC certification.

IPS:

2 years clinical experience in a patient care setting (prefer inpatient/hospital setting), medical lab, public health, infection prevention, or closely related field.

IPS-II:
