Infection Preventionist / Infection Control Officer (RN) - Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation Center Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, NC is seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as an Infection Preventionist / Infection Control Officer. This role is responsible for overseeing the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program while supporting resident safety, regulatory compliance, staff education, and quality clinical outcomes. Completion of Infection Prevention training/IPCO Certification prior to assuming the role.
CIC or APIC preferred.
CP Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of NursingValid state licensure as an RN or LPNMinimum of two years' experience as an Infection Preventionist or related healthcare experience with knowledge of patient care practices, microbiology, infectious diseases, and epidemiology.Completion of Infection Prevention training/IPCO Certification prior to assuming the role.
