Assists in planning, development, and /or implementation of the Infection Prevention Program. Collaborates with hospital staff and related departments in the development of infection prevention policies and procedures.

Essential Job Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree in health related field required Two years' experience in Infection Prevention preferred. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC). CIC to be obtained within one year of hire, if not certified CIC. Current NYS RN license. Computer proficiency. Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
