This role leads the infection prevention program and owns staff development/orientation/in-services to support high-quality resident care. Infection Control Nurse (RN)

Skilled Nursing Description:
Lead and maintain the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program Monitor and educate staff on isolation precautions, universal precautions, aseptic technique , and regulatory requirements Prepare/communicate infection data summaries (monthly/quarterly) and support quality initiatives (QAPI) Plan and deliver new hire orientation , annual mandatory training, and targeted in-services across departments Track and coordinate CPR/AED training and clinical competencies (RN/LPN/CNA) Partner with Nursing Leadership, HR, and department leaders to roll out policy/procedure changes May function as charge nurse occasionally based on operational needsSchedule:
M-F, Days (occasional off- shift education)
Salary:

- Skilled Nursing Required qualifications: Active Pennsylvania RN license (good standing) Infection Preventionist certification through the CDC (required) Long-term care experience with staff education/staff development and infection control LTC/Skilled Nursing + strong nurse educator mindset Experience with PointClickCare and Relias (training) (required) Strong communication, organization, and staff coaching skills Highlights Brand New Skilled Unit Smaller skilled/LTC setting (close-knit team; resident-centered culture) Beautiful, gated community + ample parking.
