R D Culinary/Food Technologist Cedarlane Natural Foods - 4.1 Carson, CA Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Food and beverage product quality management Food quality maintenance Food Science HACCP Food & beverage production Full Job Description R D Culinary / Food Technologist We're looking for a creative, hands‑on R D Culinary/Food Technologist to help develop delicious new food and beverage products. You'll work from concept through production, blending culinary skill with food science to make ideas real. This role partners closely with QA, Operations, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure every product is safe, consistent, and ready for scale. What You'll Do Assist in developing and refining new recipes, formulations, and sensory evaluations. Support research projects to improve existing products and explore new ideas. Work with manufacturing teams to scale prototypes while maintaining quality and integrity. Help run sensory panels, quality checks, and validation testing. Document formulation changes, observations, and process notes clearly. What You Bring Solid culinary foundation: flavor development, seasoning systems, and safe food handling. Understanding of HACCP and basic food safety principles. Strong communication skills for working with QA, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain. Comfortable following formulas, gathering data, and keeping organized records. Join us and help create the next generation of great‑tasting, high‑quality food products.
