Environmental Professional Geologist Environmental Consulting | Phase
I & II ESA

Build Your Career Where Fieldwork Meets Environmental Impact ELOS Environmental, LLC, an Aventia Company, is looking for an Environmental Geologist who enjoys combining hands-on fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and environmental consulting. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful environmental projects involving Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, soil and groundwater investigations, and Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) RECAP projects . At ELOS, you'll be part of an experienced environmental team helping clients navigate complex regulatory and environmental challenges while continuing to build your technical expertise. What You'll Do You'll have the opportunity to work across both the field and technical sides of environmental consulting , including: Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Conduct Phase II subsurface investigations in accordance with

requirements Support the preparation of RECAP reports and
MO-1/MO-2
evaluations Install and log soil borings and monitoring wells Collect soil and groundwater samples using standard environmental field practices Perform slug testing and other field investigations Analyze, process, and interpret soil, groundwater, and other environmental data Apply geology and earth science knowledge to interpret field observations and site conditions Prepare clear, accurate technical reports and environmental documentation Organize project data, field notes, scientific documentation, and supporting files Coordinate and communicate with regulatory personnel regarding project information and correspondence Collaborate with project managers and team members to keep projects moving forward Travel locally to project sites and perform outdoor fieldwork in varying weather conditions What You Bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geophysics, Engineering, or a related discipline Hands-on environmental field experience Experience with soil borings, monitoring wells, sampling, well logging, and/or slug testing Strong technical writing, organization, and data interpretation skills Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with a project team Ability and willingness to perform outdoor fieldwork and physical activities associated with environmental investigations Ability to travel locally as project needs require We'd Really Like to See
LDEQ RECAP
(Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program) experience Experience preparing or supporting RECAP reports Experience completing RECAP MO-1 and MO-2 evaluations Louisiana environmental consulting or regulatory experience Phase I and Phase II ESA experience Soil and groundwater investigation experience License/Certification Professional Geologist (PG) registration required, or demonstrated ability and commitment to obtain PG registration within 12 months of hire.
