Responsibilities Conduct detailed geological and hydrogeological assessments through field research, soil sampling, and groundwater monitoring. platforms, and groundwater modeling techniques. Monitor drilling operations in real-time to provide geological guidance and ensure data accuracy during mudlogging activities. Prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting geological findings, environmental compliance status, and recommendations for ongoing operations. Utilize AutoCAD for geological modeling and site layout planning; employ Python and MATLAB for data analysis and automation tasks. Ensure adherence to environmental laws, Hazmat regulations, and safety standards throughout all field activities. Support environmental remediation projects by managing project documentation, assisting with hydrogeological assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with construction teams on site investigations involving soil sampling, mechanical knowledge application, and environmental impact assessments. Maintain meticulous records of all data collection activities while ensuring data integrity for future analysis. Participate in project management efforts by coordinating field research schedules, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines. Experience Proven geology experience with a strong background in scientific research related to groundwater, soil sampling, and environmental studies. Hands-on experience with geological modeling software such as Petra; proficiency in ArcGIS and GIS platforms is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets using MATLAB or Python for analysis automation. Knowledge of environmental law, Hazmat handling procedures, and environmental remediation project management practices. Experience working in field research environments involving construction sites or exploration drilling operations. Familiarity with ground water modeling techniques and hydrogeological assessment methodologies. Strong technical writing skills for preparing detailed reports; experience with environmental compliance documentation is a plus. Mechanical knowledge relevant to drilling equipment or construction activities is advantageous.
