About Us Logic Geophysics & Analytics LLC is a geophysical consulting firm which provides comprehensive geophysical solutions to environmental, engineering, and government agencies. We conduct projects throughout the state of Alaska, from the North Slope to the Aleutians. Additional information about the company may be found on our website. Job Description, Abilities, and Skills Logic Geophysics is seeking a full-time geophysical technician and team lead. Successful candidate must possess good communication skills and enthusiasm to perform tasks as assigned independently from direct supervision. Person must be a U.S. citizen and currently located in Anchorage or Fairbanks at the time of application. The weekly hours will be variable, with the minimum anticipated to be 24 hours and the maximum anticipated to be 80 hours. Probationary period will be 90 days. Frequent long, challenging days of physical labor outside in all weather conditions can be expected. Work efforts may >75% remote work beyond Anchorage especially in the summertime, requiring overnight stays covered by the company. On the job training will be provided for all technical tasks. Technician will work with ground-penetrating-radar, seismic, GNSS, resistivity, gravity, magnetotellurics, and other geophysical/measurement equipment as instructed on the job site. Ideal candidate will demonstrate familiarity with similar technology, such as GPS systems. Pay $70,000
