Field-based (US Territory) Hugel Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a scientific and clinical expert supporting our growing aesthetics portfolio. This field-based role will develop and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions within the dermatology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine communities. The MSL will engage in balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange, support clinical education initiatives, gather meaningful medical insights from the field, and contribute to the execution of Hugel Aesthetics' U.S. Medical Affairs strategy. This position plays a critical role in ensuring scientific credibility while supporting the continued growth of Hugel Aesthetics in the U.S. market. This is a field-based position requiring travel throughout an assigned U.S. territory. What You Will Do Scientific Engagement & KOL Development Establish and maintain trusted, compliant scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dermatologists, plastic surgeons, injectors, and other aesthetic providers. Conduct objective, fair-balanced scientific exchange regarding clinical data, mechanism of action, safety profiles, and real-world experience with Hugel Aesthetics products. Identify emerging thought leaders and develop engagement strategies aligned with Medical Affairs priorities. Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific programs. Medical & Clinical Support Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely, compliant manner. Present clinical data and scientific information at congresses, scientific meetings, and educational forums. Support discussions related to investigator-initiated research (IIR) and identify potential research sites when appropriate. Provide scientific and clinical training to internal teams as needed. Medical Insights & Strategy Capture, analyze, and communicate actionable medical insights from the field to inform Medical Affairs strategy. Identify emerging trends in aesthetics, competitive developments, and unmet clinical needs within the market. Cross-Functional Collaboration Provide scientific support to Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory teams while maintaining strict compliance boundaries. Support product launches and lifecycle management initiatives. Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, FDA regulations, and industry compliance standards. What We Are Looking For Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, preferably within aesthetics, dermatology, or related specialties. Advanced scientific degree required (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA). Therapeutic expertise in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, or injectables strongly preferred. Experience injecting neurotoxin and filler highly desired Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. Strong understanding of FDA regulations, compliance requirements, and appropriate scientific exchange. Experience supporting product launches and new product education. Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills. Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations. High emotional intelligence and ability to build credibility with sophisticated clinicians. Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving organization. Willingness to travel approximately 50-70% within assigned territory. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to meet credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities. The most likely base pay range for this position is $190,000 to $220,000 per year. Several factors, such as experience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individual's exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Hugel Aesthetics. The total compensation could include base salary, bonuses, and equity awards.
