Research Senior Associate will function as a specialist or technical expert in molecular biology and organoid research. Responsibilities of the Research Senior Associate will be to: 1) collaborate with Principal Investigator (PI) to develop, manage and implement research projects; 2) design and conduct complex experiments utilizing cell lines and organoid models; 3) plan and execute advanced molecular biological and biochemical procedures such as cell and organoid culture, realtime PCR, immunofluorescence, immunoblot, ELISA, and cloning techniques; 4) analyze and evaluate experimental data; 5) develop and implements new or revised research methods; 6) assist PI in research & development efforts of new research projects; 7) plan and write abstracts and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals; 8) attend and present research results at national scientific conferences and workshops; 9) actively contribute to developing, writing, editing and critiquing research grant proposals; 10) oversee appropriate maintenance of laboratory equipment and purchasing of reagents; and 11) implement laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Manual and ensure compliance to local, state and federal laboratory guidelines.
Education/Experience:
Master's Degree or equivalent experience required; 3 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree, or 1 year of relevant experience required with Master's Degree. PhD preferred
