Job Description

Join our laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician, responsible for performing and reporting various specimen analyses while ensuring accurate results through established procedures.
Key duties include:
Handling specimens properly, confirming identification and suitability, and using correct accessioning procedures. Recognizing discrepancies, resolving issues, and documenting problems and solutions. Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and replenishing supplies. Following reporting protocols across multiple platforms and accessing computer applications for workflow. Training new staff and participating in educational activities to maintain current knowledge.
Qualifications include:
Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field, with certification or equivalent experience. Proficiency in laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality assurance. Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple processes, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Skills and attributes:
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and computer literacy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. This role primarily involves work in a laboratory environment, with accountability for meeting job obligations and complying with organizational policies.
