In this role, you will be responsible for performing microbiological testing for raw materials, water, in-process samples, finished products, and the production environment. The pay rate for this role is from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Work hours are Monday to Saturday with AM and PM schedules available. Duties Perform total aerobic count, yeast and mold testing. Test for specified microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Perform environmental monitoring of production and laboratory areas. Test purified water samples. Prepare microbiological media and maintain laboratory cultures. Document and review all microbiological results. Report any out-of-specification or unusual results. Support investigations, CAPAs, audits, and regulatory inspections. Maintain incubators, autoclaves, and other microbiology equipment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Pharmacy, or a related field. At least two years of microbiology laboratory experience preferred. Experience in dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, or another regulated industry is preferred. Knowledge of GMP, laboratory documentation, environmental monitoring, and USP microbiological methods. Pay Rate $20.00 to $25.00 /hr Schedule Monday to Saturday AM and PM shifts available
