Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. The Microbiologist will be responsible for routine microbiological testing, including bacterial endotoxin testing, sterility testing, antimicrobial effectiveness testing, microbial enumeration testing, and tests for specified microorganisms. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of laboratory experience performing the tests listed above and the associated method suitabilities. Knowledge of
USP 71, 61, 62, 51, 85
required. Familiarity with ISO 17025, GMP, FDA and ICH regulations, and experience with aseptic gowning preferred. Duties Perform routine sterility testing, endotoxin testing, antimicrobial effectiveness testing, microbial enumeration testing, and tests for specified microorganisms Prepare media and rinse fluids according to USP and/or internal SOPs Perform method suitability testing for microbiological assays Maintain laboratory inventory, perform restocking, and maintain laboratory equipment Author and modify standard operating procedures as required Author and execute protocols as required Complete OOS and deviation investigations and reports

$23.00 - $33.00 per hour
