Job Job Description:
Schroeder Lab requires assistance on recently funded projects looking at swine virus infection dynamics in live animal studies.
Responsibilities:
30%
  • Perform molecular assays such as qPCR and next-generation sequencing 25%
  • Perform virus culturing and isolation of swine viruses in the secure BSL-2 microbiology lab. 25%
  • Work in the veterinary isolation facility to perform animal infection studies 10%
  • Assist in necropsy and to collect samples for molecular diagnostics 10%
  • Write reports, communicate results at conferences and publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

$61,008
