A RehabTechnician's main role is to assist therapists in providing patient care, including providing direct care to individuals as needed. Rehab Technicians must follow all directions given by the Physical Therapists to help ensure that patients receive correct treatments. Additionally, they help assist the clinic in clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the company runs smoothly. Responsibilities Provide supervised assistance to patients as directed by the PTs and PTAs. Provide non-patient care activities as delegated Set up, clean, and maintain equipment and treatment areas under supervision of physical therapists Sanitize rooms after each client Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym Clean tables and equipment between patients Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as directed by office manager including patient scheduling, collection of payments, filing paperwork, etc. Perform daily laundry duties Weekly cleaning of the clinic Skills & Qualifications Required skills & qualifications: H.S. graduate or GED Great communication/interpersonal skills Frequent use of hands/fingers; frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching; Occasional sitting, climbing & balance; Regular lifting/moving up to 10 lbs, Frequently lift/move 25 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
