Chief Medical Physicist Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing top-tier cancer treatment, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy.Key Responsibilities:
Calibrate and Maintain Radiation Therapy Equipment:
Perform regular calibration and maintenance of all radiation therapy machines to ensure their optimal performance and safety.Develop and Implement Treatment Plans:
Collaborate with radiation oncologists to design and implement treatment plans that effectively target cancer cells while protecting healthy tissue.Conduct Quality Assurance Checks:
Regularly perform comprehensive quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment, ensuring adherence to national and international safety standards. Engage inResearch and Development:
Participate in research initiatives aimed at advancing radiation therapy techniques and contribute to scientific publications and conferences.Educate and Train Healthcare Professionals:
Provide training and education to radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and medical residents on the principles of radiation physics and the safe operation of equipment.Ensure Patient Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
Implement and oversee safety protocols, ensuring patient safety and compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate withMultidisciplinary Teams:
Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including radiation oncologists, radiologists, and nurses, to deliver comprehensive patient care.Solve Complex Problems:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field. Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics or equivalent. Holds HDR license or eligible Strong background in radiation physics and extensive experience with radiation therapy equipment.
