Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our professional team in providing exceptional therapeutic and relaxation services to our clients. The candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with a focus on patient-centered care. This role involves assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering effective massage therapies aimed at pain relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness. A background in medical spa services and occupational health is highly desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that promotes health and relaxation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client confidentiality. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and treatment goals Develop customized massage therapy plans utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or exercises Maintain accurate documentation of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans by using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients in compliance with occupational health standards Be proficient with patient software for scheduling, record-keeping, and patient management Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere Educate patients on massage benefits, self-care practices, and ongoing treatment options Skills State Massage License is Required, NPI/Credentials through insurance companies are plus Proven experience in patient assessment and delivering effective massage therapy treatments Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients Ability to evaluate client needs accurately and develop appropriate treatment strategies Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices in medical spa environments This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting dedicated to health, wellness, and client satisfaction.
