Job Description

Leads the governance, administration, and strategic execution of the GF Labs innovation portfolio, including Technology Pipeline Projects (TPPs), technology roadmap management (TRM), external research collaborations, and strategic technology investments. Responsible for end-to-end TPP lifecycle management including idea intake, project approval, portfolio governance, milestone tracking, resource planning, and executive reporting. Coordinates GF Labs-PBU interlocks to ensure alignment of technology investments with business and product roadmaps, oversees resource allocation and capacity planning through Anaplan, utilizes Teamcenter for idea management and project milestone tracking, and drives continuous improvement of portfolio management processes through workflow automation, digital solutions, AI-enabled tools, and advanced analytics to improve organizational productivity, data quality, and decision-making effectiveness. Job Complexity Recognized as a subject matter expert in technology portfolio management, innovation governance, and R D program execution. Leads complex cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple Product Business Units, Technology Architects, research organizations, and external partners. Develops and improves portfolio management processes, technology roadmap management (TRM) practices, governance frameworks, and supporting business systems. Balances technical priorities, business objectives, funding constraints, and resource availability to optimize innovation investments. Accountability Owns the GF Labs Technology Pipeline Project (TPP) governance process from idea creation through project closure. Administers portfolio governance activities including Steering Committees, portfolio reviews, project approvals, and executive reporting. Utilizes Teamcenter to manage idea intake, project cataloging, portfolio visibility, milestone tracking, and project lifecycle management. Leads portfolio resource planning, capacity management, and allocation reviews through Anaplan in partnership with resource managers and functional leaders. Coordinates GF Labs-PBU interlocks to align project portfolios, roadmap priorities, funding decisions, and technology transition plans. Supports development and execution of GF Labs Technology Roadmap Management (TRM) processes and strategic planning activities. Develops portfolio metrics, milestone tracking, business analytics, and executive dashboards using Power BI and related tools. Manages interactions with universities, research institutes, strategic suppliers, consortia, and government-funded research programs. Leads continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives for GF Labs business processes, including the development and deployment of workflow automation, AI-enabled agents, advanced analytics, and productivity tools that improve portfolio visibility, reporting efficiency, resource planning, milestone management, and overall organizational effectiveness. Relationship Focus Serves as the primary interface between GF Labs, Product Business Units, Technology Architects, Finance, and resource management organizations. Facilitates cross-functional decision making, portfolio prioritization, and roadmap alignment across multiple organizations and sites. Represents GF Labs in engagements with external research partners, universities, suppliers, and industry collaborations. Influences portfolio investment decisions, resource prioritization, and technology planning activities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong technical program and portfolio management experience in semiconductor R D, product development, or advanced technology organizations. Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional programs and governance processes. Deep knowledge of portfolio planning, prioritization, resource management, and executive reporting methodologies. Experience with Teamcenter or equivalent PLM systems for innovation management, project tracking, milestone management, and portfolio administration. Experience with Anaplan or equivalent planning systems for resource allocation, capacity planning, portfolio forecasting, and investment management. Proven ability to coordinate business and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, investment prioritization, and portfolio analytics. Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills. Preferred Technology Roadmap Management (TRM) experience. PMP certification. Experience supporting Horizon-based innovation portfolios. Experience managing consortium or externally sponsored research programs. Experience developing Power BI dashboards and portfolio analytics solutions. Experience implementing workflow automation, digital transformation initiatives, AI-enabled productivity solutions, business analytics, or business process optimization tools Requires a technical (University) degree. (Exceptions approved by local HR). BS + 11 or more years of experience or MS + 8 or more years or PhD + 7 or more years Expected Salary Range The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
