This position provides valuable hands-on experience while helping faculty, staff, or research teams achieve project goals. Duties may vary depending on the project and can include research support, data organization, documentation, and other assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: BET surface area analysis of sediments and soils Synchrotron-based experimental data acquisition and processing Lab-based experimental design and sampling Field-based sampling and sample processing Training and advising of new undergraduate research students Literature search, reading, summarizing and integrating into scientific manuscripts Required Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage assigned tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Reliable, professional, and dependable. Basic computer proficiency.
