Job Description

This position will assist the principal investigator with the design, execution, and documentation of research studies. Core Research Support Assist the principal investigator with the design, execution, and documentation of research studies Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings to support grant proposals, papers, and project planning Collect, clean, code, and manage research data in accordance with IRB, lab, and data-security protocols Perform quantitative and/or qualitative analysis using Python Maintain accurate datasets, codebooks, and version-controlled project files Writing, dissemination, and collaboration Draft, edit, and format sections of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and technical reports Prepare figures, tables, and supplementary materials for publications and presentations Present progress and results in lab meetings, journal clubs, and (as appropriate) conferences Coordinate with co-authors, collaborators, and external partners on shared research tasks Assist with citation management, reference formatting, and journal submission requirements Project and lab operations Help prepare IRB/ethics applications, amendments, and continuing-review materials Support grant-related tasks such as progress reports, budget tracking, and literature/justification sections Train and mentor undergraduate research assistants on protocols, software, and lab safety Follow all institutional, safety, and responsible-conduct-of-research requirement Other duties as assigned Programming experience in Python
