Description:

With guidance from the supervisor and following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the technical assistant will perform a wide range of tasks in laboratory and field or greenhouse settings supporting the regulatory science research program. They will ensure quality and integrity of samples and data and assist with day-to-day sample processing operations (sample receipt, lyophilization, grinding, weighing, distribution, inventory and retention seed lot inventory, preparation for characterization and distribution activities (seed receipt, inventory, sub-sampling, cleaning, treating, packet printing, filling, scanning, devitalizing, grinding, shipping, sample retention, and discard) support other team needs including greenhouse and field data and sample collection.
