Job Summary:

Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to advancing sodium-ion battery research by developing and characterizing composite cathode-catholyte polymer materials, functionalizing polymer surfaces, and studying their physical and electrochemical properties.

AA/EOE Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. In Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in sodium-ion batteries Polymer electrolyte synthesis Experience with laboratory instrumentation, including impedance spectroscopy. Proficiency in microscopy techniques like SEM and TEM Strong writing and communication skills Ability to maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
