Job Description

Research Associate - Immunoassay and Bioconjugation Celnovte Biotechnology, a company that develops and manufactures in vitro diagnostics (IVD) reagents, located in Rockville MD, is searching for a talented research associate (RA) with experience in immunoassay and bioconjugation. A successful candidate will be responsible for independently designing, validating, executing and troubleshooting immunoassays and other analytical assays in support of product development and production. Also, the candidate will perform protein-protein conjugation following instructions from senior scientists.

https://www.celnovte.com/ Responsibility 50% Production Support Performing quality control assays and protein conjugation reactions in scale-up production of bioconjugates utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Batch Records and Form Preps. 30% Immunoassay Development Work closely with senior conjugation chemist to develop, perform and troubleshoot immunohistochemistry, ELISA and other analytic assays to evaluate bioconjugates. Image and interpret histology staining results using bright-field microscopy. Multi-task across several projects and manage time effectively to achieve results. 20% Others Preparation of reagents and buffer as needed. Assist in product labeling and shipment. Requirements Bachelor's with 2-3 years laboratory experience or Master's with 1 year laboratory experience Degree in life sciences, protein sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field Preferred Experience Proficiency in the following assays is preferred: Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western-Blot. Experience working in a life science manufacturing environment is required, with knowledge of developing and following SOPs. Experience in protein purification by the
AKTA-FPLC
