Job Description
Contribute to the overall implementation of smart products working in scrum agile team. Follow and implement sound software development practices, adhering to coding standards and procedures. Provide creative solutions to complex problems. Apply dev skills and state of the art industry solutions for embedded software and bring the best of these solutions to Whirlpool products. Develop and implement sound software development practices including continuous integration, nighty build & regression testing, test driven design. Assist other engineers through instruction and mentoring. Work in Agile and Waterfall environments. Integrate Software into Home Appliances. Read and understand hardware schematics and requirements. Travel to Manufacturing Plants in Cleveland, TN and Tulsa, OK one time per year.
